How to read this comp:
- Scan a column (top-to-bottom) to see how one color holds up across all three screens.
- Scan a row (left-to-right) to see how different colors change the feel of the same screen.
- The mini phones are simplified — real app surfaces on device will have more detail, but the color relationships are accurate to the hex values in
theme.ts.
- The Add Research row intentionally renders the sheet over a dimmed backdrop so you can see how the system-nav strip reads when a modal is open.
- On real Android, the system nav glyphs are rendered by the OS at ~80-90% opacity, not by us — they adapt to the strip color automatically (dark glyphs on light strips, light glyphs on dark).
Questions to ask for each candidate:
- Does the system-nav zone read as "not-the-app" territory?
- Does it clash with the ORANGE vote-conf gradient?
- Does the Add Research sheet's WARM_GREY body bleed into it, or stay distinct?
- On the Feed, is there enough contrast between the WHITE tab bar and the strip?
